I have a web application. It ' s a document with some texte, and a codabarre put like a picture.
When I print to pdfcreator 3.0, it's work.
When I print to microfsoft pdf, it's work.
When I print to pdfcreator 4.X, it's not work. I means than instead of the picture I have a red square.
In three case, the pre display is fine.
An idea ? A bug or Différence between 3.0 et 4.X ?

Hi! I updated the program to version 4.1.0 and found that my VB.NET application stopped working. Your example (COM_TestForm) does not work either. I rolled back to version 4.0.4 and it worked.

Hello, after license buying (pdf creator for terminal server) i receive a License key.
But when i try to enter to product, the "Invalid Key provided" error appear... Can someone help me?

Dear all,
for certain reasons which I can't explain here in depth, I have to start a certain application using another user account. That is, I login into Windows using my normal account and then start this application from a cmd32 window, executing a command like that:
runas /user:OtherAccount c:\path\to\application
The problem:
When I try to print to PDF Creator from within that application, the usual PDF Creator windows does not appear.
Some notes:
I have configured PDF creator as needed for my normal account as well as for the other account. That is, I logged into Windows using the other account and configured PDF Creator. Then I logged out and logged in again using my normal account and configured PDF Creator.
I have verified that PDF creator works flawlessly in my normal account and in the other account (by printing some test documents in each of the accounts).
Printing to PDF Creator from within that application worked flawlessly with previous versions, even when the application had been started using another account (by the method shown above). Until two days ago, I was happy; then I installed the update to 4.1.0, which broke things. I have made the bad mistake to not note down the version of PDF Creator I had installed before; I can only say that it probably was several months old (not more than a year).
Even though the PDF Creator window does not appear when I print to PDF Creator from within the application, when the application has been started using another account, PDF Creator actually runs the respective print jobs: When I start PDF Creator manually using that other user account (that is, when I right-click on the PDF Creator icon, select "Run as different user" and enter the other user's credentials), I can see the PDF documents which PDF Creator has generated before.
So how can I restore the old behavior, i.e. make the PDF Creator window show up immediately after having printed to PDF Creator from within an application which has been started using a different account?

Hi, We have been battling an increase in users suggesting there is a fault with PDFCreator when sending documents to print (we have it set to email back a converted PDF).
The symptoms are that they never receive a PDF. It seems however that after a bit of hunting around and discussing the problem we have a group of users who are sending encrypted PDFs to print in an effort to split the document and receive back another PDF with only the pages they need.
The event log shows
"This PostScript file was created from an encrypted PDF file.
Redistilling encrypted PDF is not permitted."
Has anyone come up with a way of alerting the users to the fact that this is correct behaviour? I'm thinking about maybe a return email with some guidance about how they cannot redistill this type of document and offering alternative options.
Anyone come up with any clever solutions?

I currently have a new problem, I am looking to automatically save my pdf files in a folder. Unfortunately I noticed PDF creator (4.1.0) bugger when printing and crashed the print service (print spooler).
I opened the error file, the first error is this :

I use PDF creator to print the final report from a batch run in a siemens software. everything looks perfect but after a while, I had a case that the items on the file has moved randomly and everything misplaced.
it gets worse and worse by the time and I am not sure what happened.
I was wondering if there is anything I needed to set up or is there any solution for this case?
I am using version 4.0.03 and I cannot upgrade it as it has been used widely in several machines.

Hello,
Previously after using PDFCreator, once I printed to it to create the PDF, the PDF would open automatically. Now after doing so I need to manually open the PDF. How can I set it so that the PDF automatically opens after printing to PDFCreator again? Thank you.

I am trying to print a Report from Crystal Reports to PDF Creator. I am using a custom Profile whereby I am creating PDF and Sending email to a recipient. I have defined the Email address in a User Token [[[CustomerEmail:john@doe@com]]]
PDF Creator is not able to generate email. However when I am doing the same thing using Notepad or MS Word or even MS Access, the email gets sent the way intended. Please advise what could be the issue.

I'm using the COM interface from a Visual Foxpro program and with the latest PDFCreator version 4.1.0 has stopped working.
The PDFCreator.PDFCreatorObj and PDFCreator.JobQueue objects are no more instantiable.

Hi All,
In my business's software we need to convert Microsoft Word documents to pdf, in order to send these to external partners. This conversion is normally done by using Word non-interactively, with a Word macro.
This method has one disadvantage: the pdf's size is huge. Every now and then the size exceeds the maximum accepted by transfer protocols.
In my search for an alternative I found PDFCreator, which produces great pdf's with remarkable smaller sizes.
I am now researching the option to use PDFCreator for conversion, but in my testing I noticed one thing: PDFCreator uses Microsoft Word for this conversion (a Word-window pops up during creation).
So obviously PDFCreator utilizes Word to create a pdf with an acceptable size.
Here is my question: How does PDFCreator do this?
Sorry if this knowledge is some kind of pdfforge's business secret 
but then I would also like to know that.
PS. No pictures/graphics are used in my documents.

Hey there,
I've been working on this for hours... I cannot reinstall PDFcreator because it cannot install printers. So I get the message about repairing and then the error that it cannot be repaired contact your administrator or support. I've been running everything as an admin.
Things I've tried:
PrinterHelper.exe /InstallPrinter PDFCreator /PortApplication “C:\Program Files\PDFCreator\PDFCreator.exe”
Deleting the registry key with Pdfmon
I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times.
Restarted multiple times.
Scoured the registry for everything related to PDFCreator and PDFForge and deleted it all.
Given permissions to C:\windows\system32\spool\drivers\x64\PSCRIPT5.dll and removed it.
Probably many more things (just google "Can't Install PDFCreator" and I've tried everything ever suggested).
I am desperate. Please help!

I purchased 10 licenses of pdf architect standard.
Weeks later I used the upgrade license function in the "my account" page and purchased 2 license upgrades to pdf architect pro.
After the purchase all I see is the 2 pro licenses and all my standard licenses are gone now!
How does this work? I sent a support request and no response after a whole day.

I'm looking for some VBA code to send an existing PDF file to the default printer using PDFCreator. We have PDF files associated with Acrobat Reader. Does anyone have sample code to do that?

I am investigating which PDF Creator I need to serve my company. We use Terminal Servers for the user, so do I need PDF Creator Term Server or PDF Creator Server Edition or both?

Hello, I receive the message "you do not have any PDFCreator printers installed. Most likely there was a problem... do you want to fix this by reinstalling the printers?
But when I click Yes I get the message "PDFCreator was not able to repair your printers. Please contact your administrator or the support to assist you with this problem".

I'm having trouble with printing with the use of "postscript custom page size", when I select the option fill in 393x210mm, click "OK", and "OK" in "PDFCreator Advanced Options" window and "PDFCreator Document Properties", everything seems fine...
If I go back in to check the the "page size" in "PDFCreator Advanced Options" it is changed back to default A4
