Regular expression: Can't open application settings anymore

Search text: .*.zip(.+)
Replace with: $1

As soon as I save, the application settings get closed and I can't open them anymore. In the log file I can see the following error:

2016-08-01 07:59:12.9413 [Error] pdfforge.PDFCreator.Threading.ThreadManager.b__240: System.ArgumentException: parsing ".*.zip(.+)" - Too many )'s._

Please help, what am I doing wrong?
